South Beach Miami

Miami is one beach destination I never get sick of. Although I can’t stand the over-crowded airport, the beach and nightlife make up for it. Recently we stayed at the Nautilus Hotel on South Beach using the app Hotel Tonight to book the room. The hotel has an amazing location right on the beach and walking distance from the nightlife. The best part of the hotel is the pool scene. Every morning we headed down to the pool and were immediately given loungers in the sun with poolside service. Unfortunately we were not the biggest fans of the poolside bar and what they had to offer… we discovered we preferred the drinks a few hotels over at The National (make sure to order a Miami Vice- they are top notch here!)

My favorite¬†nighttime spot in South Beach is Mango’s Tropical Cafe. Be prepared to spend $10 on cover but trust me this is well worth it. Not only do you get delicious beachy¬†drinks at Mango’s but you get the best show! The staff puts on amazing dance shows almost round-the-clock here. You get everything from salsa dancers to an amazing Michael Jackson impersonator to the bartenders singing on stage. Trust me when I say- this place is not one to be missed! We went both nights we were in Miami this time!

Earlier this year in Los Angeles my boyfriend and I dined at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood. We loved it so much we decided to hit up Cecconi’s in Miami at the Soho Beach House. It seems like without reservations in advance you won’t get a table but luckily for us we snagged prime seats at the bar for our dinner. I highly recommend coming to Cecconi’s if you’re in Miami or West Hollywood!

I find myself in Miami at least once a month and I keep coming back to the same places!
